In order to ensure that every girl has access to the Girl Scout experience, GSSN places paid leaders at sites where the impact of poverty limits the ability to identify volunteer leaders. From low-income housing sites to juvenile justice facilities, GSSN partners with agencies serving low-income and/or at-risk girls to ensure that no girl is turned away due to lack of household resources. We also offer financial assistance to any girl who needs support along her Girl Scout journey.
